About Us

For years, Trinidad & Tobago’s legendary musical heritage—from raw Calypso and Soca to bass-heavy Dub and Island Disco—was easier to find in European collections than on local shores. On September 22, 2015, Kevon set out to change that, opening The Burg to give local collectors and international diggers a place of their own without needing to travel to London, Berlin, or New York.

More than a shop, The Burg is a community living room tucked away right in the heart of Woodbrook. Step inside to discover wall-to-wall vinyl, timeless vintage clothing, retro home decor, and unique local crafts. Drift out back to our relaxed kitchen for fresh, intentional vegetarian and seafood options, or kick back with friends under the sun.

From lazy daytime crate-dives to warm, rhythmic evening listening sessions, The Burg wraps you up in a creative, laid-back vibe that is entirely its own. Nostalgia has a rhythm here—come spin a while with us.
